How did a chicken soup end up without chicken

"OK, I am a little hungry now, let's make some chicken soup," she thinks. So she starts preparing for the ingredients needed such as tomatoes, potatoes, onions, carrots...and perhaps some chicken?

Only then she realizes the kitchen has everything but chicken.

"The soup won't be complete without chicken. I need to get some chicken from the market," she thinks. So she puts on a white dress and heads out.

Just when she is about to cross the street, a fast-driving car suddenly drives past and runs over a pothole next to her in which some mud spills out of and contaminates her white dress.

"This is really embarrassing, I have to clean it!" She thinks. So she goes to the nearest washroom where she can do the cleaning.

When she is done with the cleaning, she looks at the mirror and realizes her skin is a little dry.

"Oh this is embarrassing, I need some moisturizer!" She thinks. So she goes to the pharmacy nearby to get some moisturizer for her skin.

When she is about to pay for the moisturizer, she notices a stack of brochures next to the counter about a 90% discount promotion on a mountain bike that glows in the dark.

"Oh that's so handsome, I certainly need one of those!" She thinks. So she quickly rush to the shop that sells the mountain bike and happily gets herself one.

She then cycles home with her new mountain bike and moisturizer, only to see her undone soup again and recalls that chicken is the very item that she was looking for.

"Ahh....no way!" And she realizes she has spent all her money on the mountain bike and moisturizer that she doesn't really need, and now has not enough for the chicken anymore.

The one-star universe

There is this star who resides in a small universe, who one day feels like leaving that universe.

In order to make the universe feel better for its departure, the star says these to the universe:

"Do you know, in the Solar System, the Planet Earth is either slightly or far bigger than these planets - Venus, Mars, Mercury, and Pluto, size in ascending order?"

"Having said that, do you know, however, these planets are far bigger than the Planet Earth in the Solar System - Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune? We can even fit about 1400 Earths inside the Jupiter!"

"Having said that, do you know, compared to the Sun, however, the Jupiter is about 980 times smaller?"

"Having said that, do you know, out of our Solar System, there is a very big universe, and all the stars in it, like Sirius, Pollux, Arcturus, size in ascending order, are much much bigger than the Sun?"

"Having said that, do you know, however, even these humongous stars are simply pale in comparison to some of the other stars in the universe like: Rigel, Aldebaran, Betelgeuse, Antares, size in ascending order, where Antares is the 15th brightest star in the sky and is more than 1000 Light Years away from the Planet Earth?"

"So you see, my dear universe, I am just such a tiny little dot in the sky. Please don't be sorry if I leave you."

The universe replies sadly:

"Yeah sure, those stars are indeed very big, and of course, the creator of all of them can only be the biggest."

"But you have to understand, a star can only be bigger in comparison to a smaller one. If you are the one and only star in a universe who has been illuminating it all its life, and the universe can only be a universe because of your presence, how can you say you are not big enough for that universe?"

"No, you have no idea, I think."
